I loved Fuzz and especially Roach’s humor...sadly this world revolves around humans and ultimately, that was the take away... there’s so little we can do to make “humane” choices that serve us humans.
People bringing lawsuits against animals for doing what comes naturally just shows how dumb animals (of the human variety) can be. This does sound like a delightful book.
I haven’t got a grain mill, but I applaud your efforts. I might make those cookies with half whole wheat (purchased, not home-milled) and white. I usually prefer that mix, though I know it’s less healthy.
